These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Buzzmint platform, website, and related services provided by Buzzmint Ltd ("Buzzmint", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

The Services

Buzzmint provides digital trust infrastructure including identity verification and governance, community management, credential issuance, and secure access management services. The specific services available to you are determined by the agreement between Buzzmint and your institution or organisation.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

Account Responsibilities

Where you are provided with access credentials to the Buzzmint platform, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us promptly of any unauthorised access or suspected security breach
• Ensuring that your use of the platform complies with applicable laws and your institution's policies

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Buzzmint platform to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its underlying systems
• Transmit harmful, fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content
• Impersonate any person, entity, or institution
• Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or availability of the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the platform without authorisation
• Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these restrictions have been breached.

Intellectual Property

All content, software, technology, and materials that form part of the Buzzmint platform are owned by or licensed to Buzzmint Ltd. This includes, but is not limited to, the platform architecture, user interface design, documentation, and branding.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in Buzzmint's intellectual property. Your right to use the platform is limited to what is expressly granted under your service agreement.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the platform may be used by Buzzmint without obligation to you.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Buzzmint platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in that policy.

Where Buzzmint processes personal data on behalf of your institution as a data processor, this is governed by the data processing terms within your service agreement.

Availability and Disclaimers

We take reasonable steps to ensure the platform is available, secure, and functioning correctly. However, we do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities at all times.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buzzmint disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform and services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Buzzmint Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or reputational damage.

Our total aggregate liability to you in any circumstances shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to Buzzmint in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Third-Party Services

The platform may integrate with or link to third-party services or websites. Buzzmint is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services, and your use of them is at your own risk.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, where required by law, or where continued provision is no longer commercially viable with reasonable notice.

You may terminate your use of the platform in accordance with the terms of your service agreement. Upon termination, provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the platform following such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
